Parlington Hall, Aberford, West Riding, Yorkshire, England

The Demise of an Old Mansion House... One day I asked, where was the old Hall?
Why was it left to fall apart? When was it demolished?
No-one had a precise answer, so I started to investigate.
This site sets out what I discovered, please read on!

Welcome to the Parlington Hall Site

During the Christmas break I took the opportunity to visit the site of the former lake. This animation is of the now derelict base of the boathouse, the water indicates the approximate level that existed when the lake was a major recreation spot for the Gascoignes in the nineteenth century.
